Power 1 Bike for Pacquiao
Add a custom-built motorcycle to Manny Pacquiao’s list of luxury vehicles.

Fans of the world pound-for-pound king may soon see the Filipino boxing icon cruising on a handsome motorbike, a 1200cc M2 Cyclone, one of these days.

Pacquiao already owns a Lincoln Navigator, two Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Chevrolet Suburban, Ford Expedition, Mitsubishi Pajero V6, Mitsubishi Grandis and Mercedes-Benz SLK. He also owns a Honda CRV, a Toyota pickup and a Hyundai Sante Fe.
On July 1, Pacquiao was the recipient of a sporty and gorgeous-looking M2Cyclone 1200cc model bike for his exemplary performance in the world of prizefighting.
The bike was manufactured by Harley Davidson’s sister company, Buell, and cost around P2.5 million.
A personal emergency in his native General Santos City forced Pacquiao to miss the affair, although he was represented in the event by lawyer Franklin Gacal.
“Sure, Manny is going to like this toy,” said Gacal when the motorbike was unveiled.
Castrol’s high-ranking executives, led by Mars Sota, Paul Salapantan and Cris Gonzales presented the motorbike to Gacal.
The bike, designed and built by the Hardcore Brothers Custom team, is designed with images of Pacquiao’s last two impressive fights against American Oscar De La Hoya and Briton Ricky Hatton.
Castrol officials said the special motorbike would cost even more should it be auctioned off in the market

Last hour line check.

The man on the monitor mix is Edd Garcia. We have been working together since Sonorous days in the 90s. Sonorous was the official sound and lights provider of Eraserheads when my friend Ann Angala (now Ann Shy) was still managing the band. Wait for the write up about Digidesign mixer and how Edd shares his experience as he learned how to use it and became an expert in one day (rehearsal). The music magazine will feature Edd as the first filipino who used this Digidesign mixer.

Many thanks to Mario Benipayo of Forerunner Technologies for letting us use this powerpacked Digidesign-Pro Tools monitor console mixer (used also by Avril Lavigne). On the night of the rehearsal, Edd, Ferdie and I were figuring out how to save the setting for Eraserheads until I asked Edd to move his flash drive and insert it again. Then we learned that the setting automatically syncs and copies with the flash drive when we checked the flash drive in Edd’s MacBook. The thing that Mario didn’t teach Edd.

It’s show time!

when they say Back of House, you stay Back of House..

congrats!…now we can have dinner. Thanks to Eraserheads (especially to Ely who talked to Edd about the requirements) for his request to MTV to hire PMX to supply their monitor system and technical rider on stage.

The company that successfully implemented the online marketing campaign of the movies “Ploning” and “Dayo” launches its new business team.
The new business team is to be called “Bloowe”, (bluwi). Bloowe is the event management group of Redmedia that will focus on events that need Web Marketing support.
It will be the fusion of Web and Event.
The bloodline of Redmedia began from the web. Therefore, the services must revolve and evolve around the web.
It’s been long due that companies now must use the combined approach of Web Marketing and Event Marketing. The greatest ROI in marketing in external and internal events are respondents to Event Marketing (24%) and Web Marketing (18%). Only 5% for Broadcast Advertising and 9% for Print Advertising, according to the report on Worldwide and Asia-Pacific event marketing of a US-based agency..
If the client’s objective is to reach new customers, then this Web+Event approach in marketing is a must.
Traditionally, the event leans on concept and treatment, stage design, spectacular sights and sound, dynamic hosts, and performers. As a lead tactic, event must be taken under consideration with the support of new media such as the Web.
Bloowe will utilize the best possible and impossible web strategies to further strengthen its event management services. It will use the web as a medium to promote the event and to gather information that clients need. It will not be limited to using social media network sites and their applications. The group’s mantra and trajectory is to provide “Socially Exciting Event Services”. It will assist companies get closer to their customers and target market. It will focus more on strategizing, event implementation, and providing value added online services to clients such as blog efforts on pre and post events.
The group will be composed of web experts, bloggers, and event group partners.
Bloowe is Redmedia’s second business platform next to Inboundpass, the most controversial online source of UAAP, NCAA, PCC, and other Philippine collegiate basketball leagues.
Apparently, Redmedia is redesigning its new website to include its platforms and other information.
